I'm so sorry to have to tell you this, but all types of philodendrons are toxic to us humans, our feline and canine friends, and our furry friends, too! They contain calcium oxalate crystals, which can cause irritation in the mouth and stomach. And if our furry pals happen to come into contact with the sap, it could cause skin irritation.

Your dogs want to relax and feel comfortable in their homes, so we love the Brazilian Philodendron. However, this plant is unsuitable for our beloved dogs. Its leaves contain calcium oxalate crystals, which can harm your pooches.
